Young Applicants in Schools Scheme (YASS) at the Open University

The YASS team (Young Applicants in Schools Scheme) at The Open University in Scotland are offering online sessions in February for school staff who are interested in finding out more about Young Applicants in Schools Scheme (YASS) and how they can get involved.
The aims of the sessions are:

To provide basic information about the OU in Scotland and the YASS programme;
To share the benefits for pupils taking part in YASS;
To explain how registration, support and learning works on YASS;
To explain the YASS co-ordinator role and how the co-ordinator supports YASS students in school;
To provide an opportunity for school staff to ask questions about YASS.
The sessions will be run via Microsoft Teams and will last an hour.

Participants can sign up for a session, and should contact the YASS team. Once registered, they will be sent full instructions on how to join the session a few days before it takes place.

Session 1 – Thursday, 18 February 2021, 4.30pm-5.30pm
Session 2 – Thursday, 25 February 2021, 4.30pm-5.30pm
